This project is in collaboration with MMoser. Establishing a strong presence at the heart of Kerrisdale with the goal of creating a new center/icon for the district. Undulating horizontal white bands were abstracted from Vancouver's natural scenery, specifically the mountain line towards the north of the building. The form of the building with its stepped balconies on the north side provides occupants with a theatre-like setting to causal link with the horizon of mountains. Children playing on the 2F/3F terrace and tenants on the residential floor balconies can connect themselves with greenery in the park to the north, but also the far-off mountains.
