This project involved the renovating of the existing Electronic Arts Building in Burnaby with a new building envelope.
The design of the new building envelope creates a grand approach to entering the building.  The building is situated on a site surrounded by trees in a quickly developing and expanding area. The design was determined by three governing factors: (1) the need to complement the site surrounding nature (2) consider materials (3) the existing building programing for electronic game design.
Our design responds to these determinants directly by adding the additional masonry wall. The design compliments its surroundings through the use of texturing, layering and  stone, wood and metal materials.
The building is sited to be accessible from Sanderson way
