Community Fire Hall

Based on Gustavson Wylie Architects track record on bringing Projects in on Budget and on time, the Maple Bay Fire Hall Technical Committee went from a Design-Build proposal where the Contractor takes the lead on Design, to a Consultant led Design- Bid-Build proposal to assist in the escalating cost of construction.

The result is an extremely efficient 14,000 sq. ft., two storey Firehall incorporating four truck bays, a firefighter's lounge and a multi-purpose room acting as the community centre. Since the new Fire Hall is to be a replacement of the existing Fire Hall, Gustavson Wylie Architects painstainkingly re-established the Community's Fire Truck Museum into the Design to maintain a part of this heritage.
