This project involved additions allowing for an expansion of the existing Hongkong Bank of Canada Group Systems Development Centre.

The original building was completed in 1989 and included 23,000 sq. ft. of office/research spaces. The new expansion involved the construction of a three-storey (54,000 sq. ft.) office / research addition to the west wing of the existing building, with the linkage of the two by a three-storey glazed atrium (4,000 sq. ft.). Staff parking for the entire development consists of approximately 380 spaces located in a new three level underground structure beneath the expansion. Our design was intended to compliment the existing building as well as the neighbouring developments of Discovery Place and the Discovery Place Community Plan.
