Vacant Outlet Redevelopment
This project involved the redevelopment of a long vacant Canadian Tire store into a new urban commercial centre. GWA worked extensively with the City of Surrey Architect and Planners to create a renovated structure which enhanced the existing character at the intersection of 152 and 101. A new tower feature, combined with extensive planting , perimeter brick pilasters and a large trellis structure were incorporated to improve not only the building, but to help define its corner status and better address both vehicles and pedestrians as well.
