A truly unique commercial experience, the Baron Manor Centre is one of the few Heritage Restaurant/Shopping Centres in Surrey, B.C. Originally slated for demolition and to be replaced with a storage warehouse in an Industrial Area of Port Kells, the original Developer's vision was to save the structure and rezone the property from Industrial to Comprehensive Development. Through extensive negotiations with the City of Surrey, the rezoning was passed and a new Owner carried the torch to the Projects Completion.
The opening of the new Golden Ears Bridge funnels traffic to the Baron Manor Centre's front door and has resulted in a good mix of tenants. The original Homestead Victorian Era Heritage Building was transformed into a themed Pub and Restaurant and the result is a transformation of the Port Kells neighbourhood. The high-end restaurant now brings customers throughout the day to this location and is the anchor for many exciting tenants to come.
